” Having experienced operational issues with our radio system we sought a replacement system that offered: clear two-way communication, robust, waterproof, reliable, officer location tracking and an emergency duress alarm. Sounds Good worked with me to explore our options and identified some radio solutions and provided us with the units over a trial period to test in all conditions.
Having evaluated the systems the ICOM 503H units proved to work without fail in all conditions and the dispatcher console allowed to see locate our officers in real time. Our total order of 24 units and 3 dispatcher consoles was delivered ahead of schedule and tested and demonstrated on site. Feedback from our officers confirms our purchase decision and confirms full coverage across the 270sq miles we cover with crystal clear communication, no identified dead spots and no latency when communicating – the equipment has worked in all extremes of weather and of course we have the usual Sounds Good backup.“
